Our main electronic technology providers are world class manufacturers. The core processing takes place in Xilinx FPGAs. Xilinx is the worldwide leader of All Programmable FPGAs. For the H.264 full HD video encoding and decoding the prestigious NTT codec chip is being used, warranting a top quality with a low latency.
SVP’s transmitter and receivers have always had excellent performance in RF due to the profound knowledge of technology SVP engineers have. Despite the excellent RF performance achieved, SVP has never failed to continue its investigation to improve the RF components of its equipments.
The PCB design is carried through with Altium PCB Design software. Our engineers are expertise on the use of this software designer & associated tools that significantly improve productivity, due to all aspects of the design process are interconnected, including schematic, PCB, documentation and simulation.
The mechanical design is carried out by SVP engineers using CAD-CAM-CAE tools. This meet the objective of providing robust and light casing for the equipments being, when necessary, waterproof and able to work in corrosive environments.
SVP Broadcast Microwave collaborates with the best partners for the manufacture of different parts of the equipment, such as PCB boards, assembly of the components and the manufacture of the cases.
The production department is responsible for making the necessary orders to our subcontractors and having all necessary material in time to ensure delivery of ordered equipment. Also, this department has to ascertain that all the items are of the best quality.
The assembly of the equipment is also carried out by the production department, so that we can ensure that each equipment undergoes an exhaustive quality control test. These tests are becoming more and more demanding in order to achieve continuous quality and performance improvement.
Once the systems and equipment have been successfully tested, the equipments are packaged and together with the corresponding user’s guide are shipped to the end customer.
Sales and Support
The sales department is the visible part of the company, the first contact with our customers. The professionals in this department try to offer SVP’s customers the best solution for each specific scenario. This department also handles received orders and sends corresponding information to the production department, so that all the orders can be sent without delay to SVP’s customers.
All the offers are managed from our headquarters in Spain. Once an offer request is received, it is studied taking into account specific customer requirements. Finally, a proposal is sent to the customer. If necessary, SVP engineers will solve all technical questions that our customers and agents may have.
It does not end here, we take great pride in the after-sale support service we offer. It is one our flagship elements which our customer greatly appreciate as they know they can count on us if any issue arises or if they need to tweak the functionality of our software.
Part of the secret of the excellent quality and durability of our equipment lies in the meticulous design of all mechanical parts. A workstation based on Solidworks 3D CAD software is used to design the mechanical that holds the valuable electronics.
This design ensures an absolute protection for the equipment to be able to work in a harsh working environment. Obtaining the RTCA DA-160 certification for aircraft applications was a big challenge. The equipment is subject to vibration and extreme environmental conditions and thanks to the excellent mechanical design, these tests are successfully passed.
SVP’s training team offers a strong basis of technical and theoretical instruction in radio links. Helping the trainee to identify the different features and technical characteristics of radio link transmissions.
An in depth knowledge of all applications and workings that SVP’s equipment offers, with special focus on operation and use of the transmitters and receivers. Sharing with the trainee over 20 years of experience and expertise in the use, installation and transmission of SVP’s products with guidance on the choice of the best site location in the field.
